What Our Members Say
We're proud of our customer service. Here's what our customers say about us.
“The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust have been a member of the NHS CPC for several years and continue to make significant savings by utilising many of their contracts and other agreements. Year on year the Trust has achieved a 2:1 minimum return on its investment.
The Trust particularly make good use of NHS CPC’s clinical procurement expertise to help with the implementation and management of new contracts and services. For example, NHS CPC recently helped the Trust coordinate the local procurement of PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention) devices and equipment which allowed the Trust to meet it’s service provision deadline.
Another recent success was the additional £62,000 the Trust saved through NHS CPC’s laparoscopy contract. Other contracts that the Trust use include those for Blood products, Contrast media, Infusion pumps and consumables, Intraocular lenses, Pacemakers, Surgical mesh, Travel management, Vascular grafts and Mobile Tariffs. Aside from contracts, we also find that legal seminars arranged by NHS CPC are an invaluable way of keeping up to date with increasingly complex and rapidly changing procurement legislation.”
Simon Farr
Contracts Manager
The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust
"We have been a member of the NHS CPC since its inception back in 2007 and we were a member of the old South Yorkshire confederation before that.We make regular savings from our membership fees and work with NHS CPC to monitor these throughout the year. We use a number of NHS CPC contracts and have worked with them to help put number of these in place.
It’s helpful that the NHS CPC have a category management approach in their procurement team because we also have a similar structure in place locally so our experts and their experts have been able to establish good relationships and regularly speak on current matters and savings opportunities. We also have a NHS CPC account manager who we meet with on a regular basis to catch up on current procurement exercises and review the planned projects for the rest of the year."

Deputy Head of Procurement
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust
"I think the NHS CPC is a very valuable resource and PCTs should make full use of it. I think NHS CPC arrangements in Yorkshire represent very good value for money and the bespoke work offered to NHS Hull was arguably the best value consultancy I’ve experienced in many years in the public sector."
Keith Parsons
Assistant Director of Primary Care Commissioning
NHS Hull
"We have been genuinely impressed with the Clinical Waste contract which has come about as a result of the effective collaboration of the Trusts represented by the Clinical Waste Consortium and the NHS CPC. By utilising the competitive dialogue process we have achieved an innovative new contract that promises to deliver not only considerable cost savings, but a local service providing significantly reduced carbon production and recycling opportunities for plastic and steel. This contract is a perfect demonstration of what the NHS CPC is capable of and how they can help Trusts reduce costs as well as improve services in the region."
