Orthopaedic Implants
Overview
Orthopaedic implants such as hip or knee prosthesis account for a significant percentage of NHS expenditure, and this speciality remains a primary area for review in terms of the NHS reducing its actual or potential spend.
Following a robust OJEU tender process and associated evaluation, NHS CPC awarded a framework agreement for the supply of Orthopaedic Implants on 9th August 2011.
The award of this framework agreement has been very timely as many Trusts remain under pressure to deliver quality patient care within an increasingly challenging financial environment.
NHS CPC has been working closely with associated companies to ensure good channels of communication are maintained and maximum compliance to the associated framework specification is adhered to.
