January Contract of the Month
NHS CPC is pleased to announce that January’s Contract of the Month is Mobile Therapy Services.
This contract provides a low cost route for NHS Trusts to source both temporary and long term mobile therapy services. Through further competition, units may be requested fully serviced with staff and equipment, or without staff and/or equipment, depending on an individual Trust’s needs for the following:
• Mobile MRI
• Ophthalmic surgery
• Urology
• Lithotripsy
• Ranibizumab injection
• Breast screening
• Endoscopy
• Temporary theatres
What this contract offers you
• Value for money – with some indicative pricing and the opportunity to further compete exact requirements, Trusts can ensure value for money.
• Market testing – through participating in this agreement Trusts can demonstrate that they have robustly market tested this key area.
• Offers Trusts a ‘one stop shop’ – Trusts/PCTs ultimately have access to all suppliers on the framework who have the capability to supply the services they require, and can take advantage of this at any time during the life of the framework agreement.
• Cost saving opportunities – Trusts are able to take advantage of preferential pricing for longer term hires and the benefit of a collaborative approach.
• Contract management – ongoing central support of NHS CPC will be provided to all involved stakeholders throughout the life of this contract.
• Compliance – this framework will enable Trusts to be assured that the service is compliant with EU Procurement Directives
