NHS CPC Drive and Home Oxygen Services commended!
NHS CPC Drive and the Home Oxygen Services have been commended at the 2011 Health Business Awards.
NHS CPC is proud to have received two commendations for the bespoke Yorkshire and the Humber Home Oxygen Services contract and for the innovative NHS CPC Drive product.
Nominated for the Health Business Hospital Procurement Award, to be commended recognises the Home Oxygen Services contract has delivered value for money and increased efficiency through smarter procurement practice.
The Home Oxygen Services contract will offer Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) across Yorkshire and the Humber up to 50% in savings when it goes live on 1 May 2012. In addition to harnessing the buying power of the region’s Trusts, the new contract will also improve home oxygen services by offering a local service, wider choice of equipment and continuous assessment and review of patients in order to better manage their conditions.
Kath Bretton, Purchased Healthcare Specialist at NHS CPC, worked with NHS Leeds on the bespoke project: “We are delighted that this contract has been commended, recognising the effective collaboration between trusts for improved service and valuable savings.”
NHS CPC Drive received a nomination for the Transport and Logistics Award, the subsequent commendation acknowledges the value of the NHS CPC Drive product and its contribution to fleet management, green transport and traffic management.
NHS CPC Drive is an innovative fleet management service that delivers considerable organisational benefits to Trusts. This market leading service provides the unique combination of salary sacrifice; electronic expenses; traditional lease car management; and grey fleet management.
Julian Clarke, Head of Fleet Services for NHS CPC Drive, said: “To be commended at the Health Business Awards demonstrates the value of the NHS CPC Drive product and the significant savings it offers Trusts. I am extremely proud of NHS CPC Drive and all we have achieved over the last year.”
Presented by BBC presenter Juliet Morris, the Health Business Awards ceremony took place at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Thursday December 8th, with NHS Trusts and Authorities from all over the UK present.
